The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Mymensingh, has approved a four-member ad hoc committee to oversee the administrative functions of Mohanganj Pilot Girls' High School in Netrokona.

Approved via an official board directive on Wednesday, the committee is mandated to manage the institution for a maximum of six months or until a regular managing committee is formed.

Jahangir Alam Khan will lead the newly formed body as its board-nominated president. He is joined by general teacher representative Md. Rafiqul Amin Bhuiyan and guardian representative Md. Suman Mia. The school's headmaster will serve as the ex-officio member secretary.

According to the education board's guidelines, the ad hoc committee is authorized exclusively to manage the school's day-to-day administrative operations. The directive explicitly prohibits the temporary committee from engaging in any recruitment activities also the appointment of teachers or support staff.

Full administrative authority with hiring and will only be restored once a regular managing committee is formally established.
