


Anisul Islam Soni, a child of Lakshipasha village in Lohagara municipality, Narail, has distributed winter clothes (blankets) to helpless and distressed people in Lohagara.
This blanket distribution program was conducted for three days starting from last Friday to Sunday (January 4).
It is learned that more than a hundred blankets were handed over to them after going around various wards of Lohagara municipality area after listing the poor, helpless and distressed people in Lohagara municipality. Many helpless people were living in inhuman conditions for a long time without getting any winter clothes. In such a situation, they expressed relief after receiving this blanket from Anisul Islam Soni.
The beneficiaries who received the blankets said that many people have not received winter clothes so far in the current winter. At such a time, this humanitarian initiative of Soni has become a blessing for them. They sincerely prayed for Anisul Islam Soni and expressed their hope for continued such cooperation in the future.
Journalists Rupak Mukherjee, Rashed Rasu and Kazi Imran of Lohagara provided overall support in this great blanket distribution program. They played an important role in finding helpless people at the field level and delivering blankets to them.
According to the locals, such humanitarian initiatives by wealthy and conscious people of the society play a major role in alleviating the suffering of cold-stricken people and further awaken human values in the society.
