The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results for Laxmipur district revealed an overall pass rate of 41.29 percent this year. Out of 8,777 examinees who appeared from various educational institutions across the district 3,624 students successfully passed with 81 achieving the highest distinction of GPA-5.

Laxmipur Government College emerged as the top-performing institution, driving a major portion of the district's overall success. A total of 1,121 candidates sat for the examinations from the college, of whom 866 passed, securing a high pass rate of 77.25 percent. The institution also produced 31 GPA-5 achievers, accounting for nearly 38 percent of all top grades in the district.

The performance figures highlight a sharp contrast between Laxmipur Government College and the rest of the district's schools where average pass rates were substantially lower. Academic observers note that the strong achievements of Laxmipur Government College prevented a further drop in the district's overall HSC performance metrics.
