


The 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has concluded with a downturn. Mohammad Naim Sheikh has emerged as the highest-priced cricketer in the auction, with the Chittagong Royals acquiring him for Tk. 10 lakh.
In total, 415 cricketers, both local and international, were auctioned during the 12th edition of the BPL. Among them, 287 were foreign players compared to 158 domestic cricketers. Six of these players opted for the franchises of their preference.
The Chittagong Royals, Rajshahi Warriors, and Rangpur Riders have assembled the strongest teams in the local category. Meanwhile, the Sylhet Titans and Dhaka Capitals have secured notable foreign cricketers.
