Christians in Pabna observed Easter Sunday with special prayers and ceremonies at local churches and cemeteries. A special Easter Sunday service was held at Pabna Baptist Church at 8:30 am on Sunday, April 5, led by Pastor Isaac Sarkar.

Earlier, special prayers were offered for the deceased at the Pabna Police Lyle Cemetery on Saturday morning and at the Arifpur Christian Cemetery on Sunday morning.

In addition to Pabna Baptist Church, Easter Sunday services were held in parishes across Chatmohar and Atgharia upazilas.

Christians celebrate Easter Sunday as the day Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity, was resurrected three days after his crucifixion.
