US Diplomat James Stewart Meets NCP Spokesperson Asif Mahmud

James Stewart Political Officer of the US Embassy in Dhaka, paid a courtesy call on Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, spokesperson for the National Citizens Party (NCP), on Wednesday evening.

The meeting took place at the NCP’s temporary central office in Bangla Motor. Discussions focused on Bangladesh's current political landscape and strategies to strengthen bilateral relations between Dhaka and Washington.

Stewart was accompanied by the embassy’s Assistant Political Specialist, Md. Iqbal Mahmud. NCP Central Committee member Ayman Rahat supported the spokesperson during the exchange.
