


National Citizens Party (NCP) spokesperson Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan is scheduled to depart for South Korea tonight, Sunday, May 10, to attend an international human rights conference.
Asif Mahmud is visiting at the invitation of the Gwangju International Center to participate in the World Human Rights Cities Forum 2026. He confirmed the visit via a verified Facebook post on Sunday afternoon.
During his stay, the NCP spokesperson will join sessions focused on international human rights, civil liberties, and democratic engagement. Beyond the forum, he is set to meet with the Bangladeshi expatriate community to discuss their challenges and the diaspora's role in national development.
His itinerary also includes organizational meetings and networking events hosted by the South Korea chapter of the NCP Diaspora Alliance. Asif Mahmud is expected to return to Bangladesh on the night of May 19.
