


The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a 10-day programme to observe the 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day,' which commemorates the 'civil-military uprising' of November 7, 1975.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the plans, which will run from November 5 to November 13, emphasizing the day's significance in bringing about a historic change in national politics and paving the way for party founder Ziaur Rahman to come to power.
Hoisting of the party flag atop all BNP offices nationwide, placing wreaths and offering fateha at the grave of late President Ziaur Rahman, Rallies organized by Dhaka city units and all district/upazila units.
The programs include discussions, cultural events, photo exhibitions, and the release of documentaries through various media, culminating in a major discussion on November 12.
Fakhrul stated the party intends to make this year's observance, which marks the 50th anniversary of the event, memorable to move forward with the philosophy of the day.
