


Twenty people have collected nomination forms in Chattogram to participate in the 13th National Parliament election. Among them, two people from BNP have collected nominations each in Chattogram-11 Bandar-Patenga and Satkania-Lohagara constituencies.
This information was available from the nomination collection list of the Chattogram Divisional Commissioner, District Administration and Election Commission on Thursday (December 18).
It is learned that in eight (8) constituencies of Chattogram, 10 people supported by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), 4 people from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, three independents and one person each from AAP Bangladesh, LDP and Islami Andolan Bangladesh collected nomination forms.
Among them, Sarwar Alamgir from BNP in Chattogram-2 Fatikchhari constituency, Kazi Salah Uddin in Chattogram-4 Sitakunda constituency, Humam Quader Chowdhury in Chattogram-7 Rangunia constituency, Md. Abu Sufian, Israfil Khasru and Nazimur Rahman in Chattogram-11 Bandar-Patenga constituency, Mohammad Enamul Haque in Chattogram-12 Patiya constituency, Mujibur Rahman and Jamal Hossain in Chattogram-15 Satkania-Lohagara constituency, Mishkatul Islam Chowdhury in Chattogram-16 Banshkhali constituency, Nazmul Mustafa Amin in Chattogram-15 Satkania-Lohagara constituency.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has fielded Md. Abdul Malek in Chattogram-5 Hathazari constituency, Md. Abu Naser in Chattogram-8 Boalkhali constituency, Mohammad Farid Alam in Chattogram-12 Patiya constituency In addition, Md. Imam Uddin in Chattogram-5 Hathazari constituency from AAP Bangladesh, Omar Faruk in Chattogram-14 Chandanaish constituency from LDP, Md. Zulfiqar Ali Mannan and independently Jinnat Akhtar from Chattogram-2 Fatikchhari constituency, Milan Kanti Sharma from Chattogram-9 Kotwali constituency and Mohammad Mizanul Haque Chowdhury from Chattogram-14 Chandanaish constituency. It is worth noting that on December 15, the first nomination was collected by BNP-supported candidate from Chattogram-8 Boalkhali constituency.
On December 17, the party's standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury from Chattogram-10 (Double Mooring-Halishahar) constituency, the party's central joint organizing secretary Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin from Chattogram-5 (Hathazari and part of the metropolis) and former central vice president Giasuddin Quader Chowdhury from Chattogram-6 (Raujan) constituency and among the announced candidates of Jamaat, Shahjahan Chowdhury from Chattogram-15 (Lohagara Upazila and Satkania part) constituency, Md. Anwar Hossain and Md. Shahadat Hossain have collected nomination forms for Chattogram-14 (Chandanaish Upazila and Satkania part) constituencies.
