


Speakers at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) have urged engineering students to master Computer-Aided Design (CAD) modeling and simulation to excel in today’s evolving job market.
They made these remarks during a technical seminar titled "CAD Modeling and Simulation: Skills, Careers, and Industry Perspective," organized by the Department of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering on Sunday morning.
MBSTU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Anisur Rahman attended the event as the chief guest, while Department Chairman Professor Dr. Engr. Md. Iqbal Mahmud presided. Dean of Engineering Professor Dr. Mohammad Motiur Rahman was present as a special guest.
Delivering the main presentation, Md. Rakibul Islam a simulation engineer and founder of Galeolab highlighted practical applications of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
He stressed that industry readiness requires hands-on technological proficiency alongside solid academic foundations.
Other key discussants included IQAC Additional Director Professor Dr. Khairul Islam, FTNS Chairman Professor Dr. Md. Azizul Haque, and Walton Hi-Tech Industries Junior Executive Engineer Alauddin. Student representative Tanvir Ahmed Abir also addressed the audience, with Mashiur Rahman Maruf moderating the session.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the interactive event.
