


The Military Collegiate School Faridpur (MCSF) has officially launched its residential English-version academic program with aiming to shape skilled and patriotic future leaders.
Situated on 18 acres in Raghunandanpur the institution provides an environment mirroring traditional cadet colleges. During a press briefing on Tuesday, Principal Lt Col Akhtar Us Samad Rafi detailed the school's mission. He noted that classes for the seventh and eighth grades began on August 12 following a competitive online admission process earlier this year. Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman formally inaugurated the campus on August 23.
Operated under the supervision of the 55 Infantry Division of the Jashore Cantonment the MCSF blends academic coursework with character development, digital literacy, leadership and discipline. Lt Col Rafi emphasized that beyond delivering sustainable with high-quality education the institution will create jobs and drive socio-economic development in the Faridpur region.
Once further infrastructure is completed, the school plans to open a girls’ wing in the upcoming academic years expanding its educational reach.
MCSF Adjutant Captain Sheikh Nahid Hasan Pratyay along with Faridpur Press Club President Kabirul Islam Siddiqui, General Secretary Mahbub Hossain Piyal and local journalists attended the briefing. Following press conference the attendees were given a guided tour of the modern and aesthetic new campus.
