Biman Bangladesh Suspends Dhaka-Riyadh Flights Indefinitely

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended flights on the Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka route indefinitely, citing “unavoidable operational reasons.”

The airline’s public relations department confirmed the decision in a statement on Saturday, October 10.

According to Biman, its scheduled flights BG-339 and BG-340 on the Riyadh route have been suspended until further notice. Passengers booked on these flights have been advised not to go to the airport. The airline said its authorities were reviewing the situation and would formally announce further details about any schedule changes or the flights’ status on Sunday, October 11.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines expressed sincere regret for the disruption and the significant inconvenience caused to passengers and their families by the suspension.

Affected passengers can seek immediate assistance by contacting the airline’s call centre or visiting the nearest Biman sales office.

The airline said further updates would be published on its official website and communication channels as soon as they become available.
