The government has transferred 11 senior police officers, including the appointment of new deputy inspector generals (DIGs) to the Dhaka and Khulna ranges.
The Home Ministry issued a notification on Thursday (September 17), signed by Deputy Secretary Tawsif Ahmed, confirming the changes.
According to the notification, DIG Md Rezaul Karim of the Police Headquarters has been appointed DIG of the Khulna Range, while Khulna Range DIG Md Mostafizur Rahman has been appointed DIG of the Dhaka Range.
The order stated that the changes were made in the public interest and would take effect immediately.
