Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport has reopened following a brief suspension of flights. Early Tuesday (June 9), flights carrying pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia landed safely at the airport, according to an AFP report.
The deputy head of operations at the airport confirmed the resumption of services. All flights to Tehran were initially halted on Sunday following Iran's missile attack on Israel, which caused widespread concern among passengers. However, operations are now gradually returning to normal as regional tensions ease.
