Major CMP Reshuffle: New OCs Appointed at 5 Police Stations

The Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) has reshuffled eight officers of the rank of Police Inspector (Unarmed), including changes to the officer-in-charge (OC) positions at five police stations in the city.

The information was disclosed in an office order signed by CMP Commissioner Hasan Md. Shawkat Ali on Monday (June 15). The order, issued in the public interest, takes immediate effect.

According to the order, Karnaphuli Police Station OC Shahinur Alam has been transferred as OC of Doublemooring Police Station, while Chandgaon Police Station OC Md. Nur Hossain Mamun has been assigned as OC of Chawkbazar Police Station.

Detective Branch (DB-South) Inspector Jasim Uddin has been posted as the new OC of Chandgaon Police Station.

CTSB Inspector Kazi Masud Ibne Anwar has been appointed OC of Karnaphuli Police Station, while Mozammel Haque has been made OC of Khulshi Police Station.

Meanwhile, outgoing Doublemooring Police Station OC Jamal Uddin Khan and Khulshi Police Station OC Mohammad Solaiman have been transferred to CMP's Counter Terrorism and Special Branch (CTSB) as Police Inspectors (Unarmed).

In addition, Chawkbazar Police Station OC Md. Babul Azad has been reassigned to CMP's DB-South as a Police Inspector (Unarmed).
