Election-oriented Olama Conference Held in Sadullapur

An election-focused Olama Conference was held on Friday morning at Jamalpur Union in Sadullapur upazila, organized by the Olama Division of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamalpur Union branch.

The event was presided over by Maulana Mobin Hossain, president of the local Olama Division. Maulana Nazrul Islam Lebu, Jamaat’s nominated candidate for the Sadullapur–Palashbari constituency in the upcoming national election, attended the program as the chief guest. Dr. Abu Sayeed Mohammad Nurul Islam Saju served as the keynote speaker.

Among others, Maulana Abdur Rouf Sarkar, Secretary of Gaibandha District Mosque Mission, Union President Syed Mejbahul Islam Rashed, and General Secretary Shamsuzzaman Ekram addressed the gathering.

The speakers urged all party members and supporters to strengthen unity and organizational capacity to ensure Jamaat’s victory in the forthcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election. Local imams, khatibs, muezzins, and community leaders were also present at the conference.
