PFEC Global organized a two-day futsal tournament on August 7 and 8 at Athletes Hub in Dhaka and bringing together teams from 32 leading English-medium schools across the city.

The event aimed to encourage sports participation among students while building teamwork, leadership, discipline and healthy competition. Adelaide University served as Title Sponsor with Swinburne University as Gold Sponsor.

The tournament featured closely fought matches, with students displaying strong footballing skills, tactical awareness and coordination. Students, parents and spectators showed enthusiastic support throughout the event and the final match proved especially competitive as both teams fought hard for the championship title.

A PFEC Global spokesperson said students need opportunities to grow not just academically but physically and mentally as well. They added that events like this help young people develop teamwork, leadership, discipline and confidence while encouraging a balanced lifestyle.

Trophies were awarded to the champion and runner-up teams at the closing ceremony. Beyond competition the tournament gave students a chance to build friendships and learn life skills outside the classroom.

PFEC Global said it plans to organize more such initiatives in the future also aiming to create greater opportunities for students to engage in sports and co-curricular activities alongside their studies. The event reflects the organization's broader commitment to students' balanced development combining academic achievement with personal, social and physical well-being.
