Gulshan Youth Club to Host ‘Ullas 2026’ Inter-Club Sportsfest Season 2

Gulshan Youth Club Limited is set to host the much-anticipated ‘Ullas 2026’ Inter-Club Sportsfest – Season 2 from October 30 to November 7, 2026, bringing together around 1,000 athletes from 21 prominent clubs across Bangladesh.

A coordination meeting ahead of the sports festival was held on Monday evening at the Aerial Hall on the 14th floor of Sheraton Dhaka Banani.

14 Sporting Events to Feature

The second season of the inter-club sports festival will feature 14 different sporting events, creating opportunities for athletes and sports enthusiasts to compete across a wide range of disciplines.

The events include 100-ball cricket, badminton, basketball, chess, 7-a-side football, golf, 8-ball pool, paddle ball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, quiz, arm wrestling and marathon.

Organisers said athletes representing 21 renowned clubs are expected to take part in the festival.

Gulshan Youth Club Limited is the organiser of the event.

Club Officials Attend Coordination Meeting

The coordination meeting was attended by Gulshan Youth Club Limited President Dr. Wahiduzzaman (Tamal), Secretary General and Ullas 2026 Organising Committee Chairman Mehedi Hasan, Vice Chairman Iftekhar Rahman, Vice Chairman and Organising Committee Member Iffat Ambarin (Joya) and Vice Chairman Amir Ali Mostafa.

Also present were Sports Coordinator Fuad Bin Sajjad and Press, Media and Marketing Coordinator Ajoy Kumar Kundu of the Ullas 2026 Organising Committee.

Chief coordinators and office coordinators representing the participating clubs, along with the convenor and co-convenors of the Ullas 2026 Inter-Club Sportsfest, also attended the meeting.

Organisers Expect a Vibrant Sports Festival

Gulshan Youth Club President Dr. Wahiduzzaman (Tamal) expressed his gratitude to all participating clubs and athletes for their cooperation, commitment and support in promoting sports and making Ullas 2026 – Season 2 a success.

Organising Committee Chairman Mehedi Hasan also thanked all participating clubs and expressed hope that the sports festival would provide athletes and sports enthusiasts with an enjoyable, vibrant and memorable experience.

With 14 sporting disciplines and participation from 21 clubs, Ullas 2026 is expected to become a major inter-club sporting event in Dhaka, while also strengthening networking and sporting camaraderie among the participating clubs.
