India has secured a place in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 final after a sensational five-wicket victory over Australia in the second semi-final near Mumbai on Thursday.

India woman successfully completed a record ODI chase of 339 runs. Batter Jemimah Rodrigues was the hero, smashing an unbeaten 127 runs.

Rodrigues combined with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored 89 runs, for a monumental 167-run partnership for the third wicket.

India sealed the sensational win with nine balls to spare. India will now face South Africa in the tournament final.
