


Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to address traffic congestion in Dhaka and improve the city’s traffic management system.
The meeting was held at the Cabinet Division office in the Bangladesh Secretariat, according to Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.
During the discussion, the prime minister stressed the need for coordinated efforts among relevant ministries and agencies to tackle the capital’s persistent traffic problems. He also highlighted the importance of modernising traffic management systems to ensure smoother movement in the city.
Senior officials from key government departments attended the meeting.
