Jamaat candidate's election manifesto announced for Pabna-4 constituency

Jamaat-Islami candidate for the upcoming 13th National Parliament election from the Pabna-4 constituency (Iswardi-Atgharia) supported by an 11-party alliance, Professor Abu Taleb Mondal, has announced his election manifesto.

On Wednesday (February 4) at 11 am, Pabna District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Zahurul Islam presided over a meeting with journalists at the Ishwardi Press Club auditorium. Professor Abu Taleb Mondal himself read out the manifesto while attending the event as the chief guest.

The manifesto includes initiatives to build a flyover bridge or underpass at the rail gate through infrastructure and communication development in Ishwardi-Atgharia, and to open a closed airport. Various promises have been made, including establishing a modern agricultural college and training institute in Atgharia through education and human resource development, upgrading the Ishwardi-Atgharia government hospital to 100 beds, construction of modern stadiums in two upazilas for sports, and modern agricultural, industrial and economic development. He also highlighted a total of 48-point development plans, including making arrangements for the construction of a guide dam to prevent erosion of the Padma, and adopting a zero tolerance policy to eradicate drugs and terrorism.

At this time, Jamaat candidate Professor Abu Taleb Mondal answered various questions from journalists.

Upazila Jamaat Ameer Dr. Nuruzzaman Pramanik, former Ameer of Atgharia Upazila Maulana Amirul Islam, Municipal Ameer Golam Azam Khan and others were present at the announcement of the manifesto and exchange of views under the leadership of Golam Rabbani Jobair Khan, Member Secretary of the Election Steering Committee of Pabna-4 constituency.
