The Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) in partnership with DeviceStamp Bangladesh Ltd. is organizing a free training and awareness program in 2026 on the European Union's upcoming Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements with exclusively for BGBA members.
The initiative aims to help buying houses understand the EU's evolving DPP regulations and their impact on Bangladesh's apparel and textile supply chain. As key players in order negotiation with sourcing product development and factory coordination the buying houses are expected to play a crucial role in preparing the industry for these upcoming standards.
The program will focus on helping members interpret future EU buyer requirements, evaluate factory readiness and guide manufacturers through the necessary preparations for DPP compliance.
With the EU moving toward stricter product traceability and sustainability regulations the industry experts say early awareness will be essential for Bangladesh's garment sector to remain competitive in European markets.
