Sunamganj-3 MP Inaugurates Inspection Room in Shantiganj

Following a government directive to establish dedicated workspaces for Members of Parliament in all Upazila Parishads, a new MP’s inspection room officially opened at the Shantiganj Upazila Parishad complex in Sunamganj on Saturday.

Mohammad Koychar Ahmed, MP for the Sunamganj-3 (Jagannathpur-Shantiganj) constituency, inaugurated the facility on the second floor of the building at 3:30 PM. The Local Government Department implemented the project to facilitate better regional administration.

The inauguration was attended by various local government officials and political figures. Key administrative attendees included Shantiganj Upazila Executive Officer (UNO in-charge) Md. Islam Uddin, Upazila Engineer Sajedul Alam, Project Implementation Officer Jahangir Hossain, Agriculture Officer Mohammad Ahsan Habib, Fisheries Officer Kamrul Hasan, Cooperative Officer Ruhul Hasan, and Public Health Engineer Atiur Rahman.

Representatives from local political organizations were also present, including District BNP Convening Committee members Ansar Uddin and Md. Faruk Ahmed, District Jubo Dal Acting President Aminur Rashid, and Upazila BNP Convener Rowshan Khan Sagar.
