Food Baskets Distributed to the Needy in Porsha

In line with the theme "End Nutrition Inequality, Build a Self-reliant Bangladesh," the National Nutrition Week concluded in Porsha, Naogaon, with a food distribution program for the underprivileged.

On Wednesday, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam distributed food baskets among the helpless and poor at the Upazila Health Complex auditorium. The event, organized by the Public Health Nutrition Organization, also featured an award ceremony for students who participated in a nutrition-themed painting competition held during the week.

Upazila Assistant Primary Education Officer Md. Joynul Abdin, Social Service Officer Shahidul Islam, and several medical officers were present at the event. National Nutrition Week activities had been ongoing at the Upazila Health Complex since April 23.
