In support of the 31-point agenda established by the Acting Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, Tarique Rahman, a motor procession and rally took place in Kamarkhali, Madhukhali Upazila, Faridpur.
Md. Moniruzzaman Monir, the former vice-president of the Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal central committee and joint convener of the Faridpur district BNP, served as the chief guest during the motor procession and rally that occurred from Tuesday afternoon until night.
To advocate for the 31-point agenda, a convoy consisting of over 150 motorcycles, private cars, and microbuses, led by Md. Moniruzzaman Monir, traversed various markets in Madhukhali along the Dhaka-Khulna highway in the afternoon, concluding at Kamarkhali Bazar.
Subsequently, while addressing the attendees as the chief guest at the rally held there, he stated, "We engage in politics with the principles of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman in our hearts. The politics of attack cases cannot represent the ideals of any party." He also pledged to work towards the development of the people if he receives the BNP nomination for the suspended Faridpur 1 constituency.
The procession and rally were attended by leaders and activists from BNP and various levels of organ and associate organizations from the three upazilas that are part of the Faridpur 1 constituency.
