Two separate incidents involving petrol bomb attacks were reported in Gopalganj Sadar upazila early Thursday morning. Unidentified miscreants targeted a Grameen Bank branch and a Public Works Department (PWD) office.

The attack occurred late at night at the Ulipur branch of Grameen Bank.

Miscreants reportedly threw five to six petrol bombs from a black microbus. Only one bomb exploded, and critically, no damage was caused to the bank building. A separate incident took place around 4:30 am, targeting the Public Works Department (PWD) office building and a pickup van parked nearby. At least ten petrol bombs were thrown during this attack. The pickup van caught fire, but the blaze was quickly brought under control by the office guard with the help of locals.

Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating both incidents to identify and apprehend the miscreants responsible for the attacks.
