Another attack has targeted the international airport in Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, with a fire breaking out at one of its terminals after an unidentified object struck the facility on Sunday, October 11.
The Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen said the attack targeted Terminal 4 at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Saudi air defence systems also intercepted a cruise missile in an area near the airport.
It was not immediately clear whether the latest attack caused any casualties. The airport has remained closed since a deadly attack on Saturday that killed 12 people and injured more than 300.
Saudi authorities said four Saudi nationals and two Bangladeshi citizens were among those killed in Saturday’s attack. Other victims were citizens of the United States, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Egypt.
