The chiefs of Bangladesh’s three armed services cast their ballots in the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum on Thursday morning, describing the day as a milestone for the nation's democratic journey.

Army Chief’s Call to Voters Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman cast his vote at Adamjee Cantonment College after 10:00 AM. Speaking to reporters, he characterized the day as a "day of joy" that the nation had anticipated for eighteen months. "The environment across the country is peaceful. I urge all voters to head to the polling stations without fear and exercise their rights," the General stated, adding that he had received reports of orderly voting from across the country.

Navy Chief on Justice and Governance Navy Chief Admiral M. Nazmul Hasan exercised his franchise at Baridhara Scholars International School and College. He expressed hope that the incoming government would prioritize justice and avoid the "wrong paths of the past." Admiral Hasan emphasized the public's desire for a corruption-free administration and urged the new government to meet the high expectations of the people.

Air Chief on the Return to Democracy Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan cast his ballot at BAF Shaheen College at 12:15 PM. He noted that the national demand for a fair election has been met. "After many years, we are witnessing a truly festive atmosphere. We look forward to a renewed democratic trend under the new government," he remarked.

The simultaneous participation of the service chiefs underscores the high level of security and institutional support for the current electoral process.
