Gold Price in Bangladesh Rises to Tk 2,50,193 per Bhori

The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has raised gold prices in the domestic market, citing an increase in global rates.

Under the new pricing, the cost of 22-carat gold has increased by Tk 2,216 per bhori, bringing the price to Tk 2,50,193.

BAJUS announced that the revised rates took effect from 10:00 am on Wednesday (April 15). The adjustment follows a rise in the price of pure gold in the local market.

According to the updated rates:

  • 21-carat gold is priced at Tk 2,38,820 per bhori
  • 18-carat gold at Tk 2,47,033 per bhori
  • Traditional gold at Tk 1,66,737 per bhori

The association last revised gold prices on April 9.
