The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and autogas for April will be announced on Thursday (April 2), according to the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).

BERC said the new prices will be revealed at a press conference at its Karwan Bazar office at 3:00 pm.

The commission adjusts LPG prices monthly based on the international contract price set by Saudi Aramco, a key supplier in the global LPG market.

In Bangladesh, private-sector LPG prices are aligned with international market trends.

On March 2, BERC kept the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder unchanged at Tk 1,341. The price of autogas was reduced by 3 paisa per litre to Tk 61.83.
