BERC Keeps LPG Prices Unchanged for May

The price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder will remain unchanged at Tk 1,940 for May, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced on Sunday (May 3). The new rate takes effect from 6 pm.

BERC said the price remains the same as set on April 19, when it was increased by Tk 212. Earlier, on April 2, the price was raised by Tk 387 to Tk 1,728.

Meanwhile, the price of autogas has been slightly increased by 2 paisa to Tk 89.52 per litre, including VAT, for May. The new rate also comes into effect from Sunday evening.

Autogas prices were adjusted twice in April. On April 2, the price rose by Tk 17.94 to Tk 79.77 per litre. It was increased again on April 19 by Tk 9.73 to Tk 89.50 per litre.
