


The price of liquefied petroleum (LP) gas has increased at the consumer level in Bangladesh. The cost of a 12 kg cylinder has risen from 1,728 taka to 1,940 taka, an increase of 212 taka.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price in a statement on Sunday (April 19). The revised rate will take effect from this evening.
Within just 18 days, the price of a 12 kg cylinder has gone up by a total of 599 taka in two phases. Earlier, on April 2, the price was raised by 387 taka. The latest adjustment adds another 212 taka.
