The Bangladesh Open University (BOU) conducted the admission test for its SSC program (Open School) for the 2026-27 academic year on Saturday. The exam took place simultaneously at 20 centers nationwide.

Md. Khalequzzaman Khan, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department, stated that the written test provides a vital entry point for students. Notably, the program is inclusive; applicants without JSC, JDC, or Class 8 equivalent certificates can secure admission by passing this exam.

According to the Admission Test Committee, 6,826 candidates sat for the exam this year. The process was overseen by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, with Professor Dr. Mohammad Zafar Ahmed serving as the Chairman of the Admission Test Committee.
