The online form fill-up for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations will begin on November 16 and continue until November 23 without a late fee according to a notice issued by the Dhaka Education Board.
The board has released detailed guidelines for regular, irregular, GPA improvement and previously expelled candidates.
GPA Improvement: Students who passed all subjects in the regular examination with a score below GPA-5 can appear for GPA improvement, provided their registration remains valid. Candidates must sit for exams covering the full syllabus in all subjects. If the score improves, the new GPA will be granted otherwise, the previous result will stand.
Expelled Candidates: Students whose expulsion terms have expired may sit for the upcoming examinations as irregular candidates across all subjects subject to registration validity.
Selection Test: Participating in the selection test is mandatory for all students, except GPA improvement candidates and those who have previously failed the SSC exam.
Irregular & Failed Candidates: Registered candidates who missed prior examinations or failed in up to three subjects (excluding the fourth subject) may appear as irregular candidates within their valid registration period.
Educational institutions have been instructed to follow the board’s continuous assessment submission procedures and ensure proper registration verification before submitting student applications.
