The leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations held a procession in support of Paddy Sheaf candidate Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee in Lakshmipur.

On Tuesday afternoon, the procession organized by the municipal BNP and its affiliated organizations started from the North Temuhani area of the city, circled the main road and ended in the South Temuhani area.

Anee Chowdhury is the Joint Secretary General of BNP and the convener of Lakshmipur District BNP. Besides, she was a former two-time elected member of parliament from Lakshmipur-3 constituency.

The procession was presided over by Municipal BNP President Rezaul Karim Liton, Sadar Upazila East BNP President Main Uddin Chowdhury Riaz, Municipal BNP General Secretary Nizam Uddin, District Jubo Dal President Abdul Alim Humayun, General Secretary Syed Rashidul Hasan Lincoln, District Sramik Dal President Saiful Islam Shahin, General Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Sohel, Swechchhasebak Dal President Advocate Mohsin Kabir Swapan, General Secretary Harnur Rashid, District Chhatra Dal President Hasan Mahmud Ibrahim, General Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, and others.

At a short rally after the procession, the leaders and activists said that Annie Chowdhury is not only the asset of Lakshmipur, but also a national asset. If elected in the coming days, she will be a minister, so everyone should unite and elect Anee Chowdhury with the symbol of a sheaf of rice.
