


Water Resources Minister Anee Chowdhury met with officials and staff of the District Family Planning Department on Saturday to discuss ways to improve reproductive health services and field-level efficiency.
The meeting, held at 10:30 am at the Minister’s office on Collectorate School Road, focused on the current progress, challenges, and future prospects of family planning initiatives in the district.
During the session, field-level officers highlighted various operational hurdles and sought the Minister's guidance on enhancing service quality. Minister Anee Chowdhury urged the staff to perform their duties with greater sincerity to make the program more dynamic.
"Coordination is key to delivering healthcare services directly to the doorsteps of the people," the Minister said, directing officials to ensure no citizen is left without assistance.
The meeting was attended by Nazmul Hasan (Deputy Director (DD), District Family Planning Office), Mahbub Hasan (Assistant Director (AD), Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy (Vice President, BFF), Other district-level officials and department employees.
Participants expressed optimism that the discussion would lead to practical steps in solving existing departmental problems and improving the overall quality of family planning services in Laxmipur.
