150 SSC GPA-5 Achievers Honoured at Reception in Laxmipur’s Raipur

A reception was held in Laxmipur’s Raipur upazila on Wednesday afternoon to honour 150 students who achieved a GPA-5 in this year's SSC examinations.

Organised by the Raipur Upazila Chhatra Dal the celebratory event took place at the Upazila Auditorium. Abul Khair Bhuiyan, Member of Parliament for the Laxmipur-2 constituency, graced the programme as the chief guest while Raipur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mehedi Hasan Kausar attended as the special guest.

Addressing the gathering the speakers emphasised that students are the future of the nation. They urged the youths to cultivate strong moral values and maintain dedication to their studies. The speakers reminded the students that alongside academic excellence they must grow into responsible citizens dedicated to serving their country and society.

To recognise their outstanding academic success and encourage future endeavours each of the 150 students was awarded a crest, a certificate and a book. The meritorious students expressed their gratitude to the organisers for the inspiring gesture.

The event was also attended by Raipur Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Mahfuzur Rahman Hridoy and Member Secretary Abdullah Al Noman along with local teachers, parents and student leaders. Organisers stated that the initiative aims to inspire these talented students to strive for continued excellence in their higher education.
