


The results of the SSC and equivalent examinations have been published, showing an average pass rate of 62.25 percent across nine general education boards, the Madrasa board, and the Technical board.
A total of 116,676 students achieved a GPA-5. Education Minister Dr. A. N. M. Ehsanul Haq Milan announced the results on Monday (August 10) morning. According to the published statistics, the Dhaka Education Board recorded the highest pass rate at 71.63 percent, while the Madrasa Education Board logged the lowest at 55.49 percent.
Among other education boards, the pass rates are: Rajshahi Board: 63.67%, Jashore Board: 66.27%, Comilla Board: 65.42%, Barishal Board: 60.35%, Chattogram Board: 59.48%, Dinajpur Board: 58.05%, Technical Board: 58.20%, Sylhet Board: 58.33% and Mymensingh Board: 57.39%.
Out of the total candidates who sat for the exams this year, 1,138,877 students passed, while 690,608 students failed. Additionally, zero students passed from 312 institutions nationwide.
Addressing questions from journalists at the Ministry of Education's conference room on Monday (August 10), Education and Primary & Mass Education Minister Dr. A. N. M. Ehsanul Haq Milan stated that admissions for Class XI will be completed strictly on the basis of exam results, as in previous years.
"Admissions for the eleventh grade will be completed based on the SSC and equivalent examination results using the traditional system that is, through marks or the GPA system," the Minister clarified.
