


A stationary train coach was set on fire at the Tejgaon Railway Station in Dhaka on Wednesday night.
Dhaka Railway Police Station chief Zainal Abedin confirmed that the incident occurred around 9:30 pm.
He stated that a fire was set in an "outlying coach" near the station but was quickly extinguished immediately. Social media footage showed flames engulfing the empty carriage.
Crucially, authorities confirmed that no one was injured in the fire, as the train was parked and unoccupied at the time of the incident.
