Sanjay Dev to Headline Dhaka Fan Fest on World Cup Final

Bangladeshi-origin American musician and DJ Sanjay Dev will perform in Dhaka on July 19, the day of the FIFA Club World Cup final at the closing ceremony of Fan Fest 2.0 in Kamal Ataturk Park Banani.

Organised by Triple Time Communications, the six-day fan festival combines live screenings of the tournament's semi-finals and final with concerts, DJ performances and other entertainment. The event begins daily at 6:00 pm.

The festival opens with performances by Feroz Jung and DJ Sumon. Black Jang and DJ Tanmay will perform on the second semi-final day, followed by Tasnim Anika and DJ Priyanti on July 16. Mila Islam, DJ Rishad and DJ Trisha are scheduled for July 17, while DJ Sunny will perform on July 18. Sanjay Dev will headline the closing ceremony alongside DJ Judu on the final day.

Tickets are available through the online platform Ticket Tomorrow. Prices are Tk500 for each of the first two days, Tk300 for the following three days, and Tk700 for the final day.

Born in Srimangal, Sanjay Dev moved to the United States at the age of 11 after beginning Indian classical music training at just three years old. Now based in Los Angeles, he works as an EDM producer and DJ, collaborating with artists including Arijit Singh, Guru Randhawa, Sunidhi Chauhan, Benny Dayal, Nora Fatehi, Habib Wahid and others.

Sanjay gained international attention after performing during the Canada segment of the FIFA Club World Cup opening ceremony, where his outfit featured Bangladeshi symbols, including the Royal Bengal Tiger, the national flower Shapla and the country's red-and-green colours.
