Faridpur Press Club farewells DC Kamarul Hasan Molla

The Faridpur Press Club has hosted a farewell reception for outgoing Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamarul Hasan Molla.

The event was held on Saturday night at the Press Club’s Liaquat Hossain Melayatan.

During the program, the Press Club presented him with flowers, a crest, and a traditional Nakshi Kantha as a token of appreciation.

The event was chaired by Press Club President Kabirul Islam Siddique and moderated by General Secretary Mahbub Hossain Piyal. Outgoing DC Mohammad Kamarul Hasan Molla attended as the chief guest.

Senior Press Club member and freedom fighter Professor Mizanur Rahman, senior member Mofiz Imam Milon, Prothom Alo’s Panna Bala, and former General Secretary Md. Hasanuzzaman also spoke at the event.

Speakers praised the DC’s role during his tenure, saying his leadership helped improve administrative work and development activities in Faridpur. They also highlighted his positive relationship with journalists and support for public service initiatives.

In his speech, the outgoing DC thanked journalists for their cooperation, saying it helped him carry out administrative duties smoothly. He added that journalism in Faridpur is progressing in the right direction and stressed the importance of accurate and responsible reporting.

Speakers wished him success in his future responsibilities.
