


Lama Adarsh Girls High School in Bandarban held its annual sports and cultural competition award ceremony, along with a newcomer reception and honours for students who achieved GPA 5 in the SSC 2025 examination.
The programme was organised on the school grounds on Tuesday (27 January). Lama Upazila Executive Officer Md Moinur Uddin attended the event as the chief guest.
The ceremony was presided over by the school’s headmaster, Abu Ahmed Imtiaz, and moderated by assistant teacher Muhammad Alam.
Md Mizanur Rahman, resident engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department, and assistant teachers Angthowaihla Marma and Joytun Nahar were present as special guests.
As part of the cultural segment, student Tashmim Tahiya recited a poem, while Arunima Das performed a dance.
After the discussion session, the chief guest distributed prizes among the winners of the annual sports competition and formally honoured the students who secured GPA 5 in the SSC examination.
