Police have recovered the hanging dead body of a schoolgirl named Gaurabi Rani (15) from her bedroom in Sadullapur upazila of Gaibandha.

On Saturday (October 18) afternoon, her body was recovered wrapped in her used veil with a ceiling fan in her bedroom at Raipara in Dashlia village of Naldanga union of the upazila. And her mother had gone to a close relative's house for a Shraddha ceremony. Meanwhile, her grandmother saw Gaurav's body hanging from the fan in her bedroom, with a veil around her neck, and screamed.
