Rally and discussion meeting held on World Diabetes Day in Kaliganj.

Keeping in mind the slogan "Lifelong Diabetes", a colorful rally and discussion meeting was held in Kaliganj, Lalmonirhat on the occasion of World Diabetes Day.

On Sunday (November 16th), a colorful rally and discussion meeting were organized in front of the Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex of the district. Meanwhile, a rally, discussion meeting and free medical camp were held to celebrate the day.

At this time, Lalmonirhat District Back Health Program and Tuberculosis Control Project Manager Md. Lokman Hossain conducted the event and Upazila Health Family Planning Officer Dr. Ali Rajib Md. Naser presided over the event.

Also present at the event were Back District Coordinator, Ashraful Alam, Lalmonirhat Back Health Program Area Manager Selim Reza, Kaliganj Upazila Area Manager Dr. B. Md. Sajedul Islam, along with working doctors, all members of the Diabetic Association, field workers, dignitaries and representatives of civil society.

The rally, organized on the occasion of World Diabetes Day, marched around the main gate of the Upazila Health Complex and met at a discussion meeting. Speakers at the event highlighted important guidelines on diabetes awareness, prevention and treatment.
