


The Naldanga branch of Agrani Bank PLC in Gaibandha’s Sadullapur upazila organised a meeting on Tuesday to strategise the recovery of classified loans and discuss special exit policies for borrowers.
Held at the Naldanga Umesh Chandra High School, the session was presided over by the branch manager Md. Fozael Hossain Palash. Md. Jahangir Alam, Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Agrani Bank's Gaibandha Zone attended the event as the chief guest.
During his address, AGM Jahangir Alam emphasised the urgent need to accelerate loan recovery to reduce the bank's burden of defaulted loans. He advised bank officials to maintain positive relationships with customers and encouraged direct also constructive dialogue with borrowers to find viable solutions for loan settlements.
The event, conducted by Senior Officer Farukul Islam Faruk aimed to bridge the gap between bank employees and clients to ensure better financial discipline.
Among others Abdul Malek, Senior Principal Officer of the Gaibandha Zone, Milan Chandra Barman, Principal Officer of the Naldanga branch and Senior Officer Rabiul Islam were present at the meeting alongside other bank officials and staff.
