


The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced nationwide prayer and milad mahfil programs to mark the birthday of former Prime Minister and former BNP Chairperson, the late Khaleda Zia.
The announcement was made through a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Friday morning (August 14).
As part of the programs, milad and prayer sessions will be held on Saturday (August 15) at party offices and local mosques across the country, with participation expected from party leaders, activists, and supporters at various levels.
The press release added that these prayer events will be organized by the BNP as well as its associate and affiliate bodies nationwide to observe Khaleda Zia's 82nd birth anniversary.
As part of the central schedule, a milad and prayer session will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the BNP's central office in Naya Paltan, Dhaka, attended by senior party leaders.Similar programs are scheduled to be observed at party offices and local mosques across districts, metropolitan areas, upazilas, and other administrative units nationwide.
The party has urged leaders, activists, and supporters from all levels of the BNP and its front organizations to join the observances.
