Newly Appointed UNO Holds Exchange Meeting with Secondary School Teachers in Madhukhali

An introductory and view-exchange meeting was held between the newly appointed Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and the heads of secondary educational institutions in Madhukhali, Faridpur.

The program took place on Wednesday (August 12) at 10:00 AM at the Upazila Parishad auditorium.

Chaired by Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Abdul Awal Akon, the event was attended by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Masudur Rahman as the chief guest. Moderated by Yunus Ali Fakir, Assistant Headmaster of Bagat High School, the event featured speeches by Upazila Academic Supervisor Rashedul Islam, Principal of Shukur Mahmud School and College Nazir Hossain Mridha, Super of Megchami Adarsha Alim Madrasah Maulana Alimuzzaman, Super of Ashapur Senior Madrasah Md. Shahidul Islam, Headmaster of Bagat High School Mohammad Rajab Ali Mollah, Headmaster of Kamarkhali High School Mohammad Bashir Uddin, and Headmaster of Mathurapur High School Faruq Hossain Mollah, among others.

In his speech, the chief guest assured that he would take all necessary steps to advance the quality of education in Madhukhali Upazila. He announced plans to organize "Meet the UNO" sessions every month by visiting various schools to interact directly with teachers and students.

Emphasizing the dignity of the teaching profession, UNO Masudur Rahman remarked that teachers were honored by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself, who was an exemplary teacher. He called upon educators to impart proper education and maintain a paternal attitude toward their students.

The UNO issued several guidelines aimed at improving educational standards, stating that students must wear their school uniforms starting September 1 and refrain from wandering around unnecessarily in uniform. He also stressed that students should not be seen roaming outside after dusk.
