


The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has officially collected nomination papers for its top leadership, Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for February 12.
Rezaul Karim Badsha, President of the BNP’s Bogura district unit, confirmed on Sunday that nomination papers were obtained for Khaleda Zia from theBogura-7constituency and for Tarique Rahman from the Bogura-6 (Sadar) constituency.
The papers were collected by senior local leaders, with former lawmaker Helaluzzaman Talukder Lalu acting as the coordinator for Khaleda Zia’s election management in Bogura-7. This move signals the party's formal preparation for the polls, centering their campaign around the influential Bogura strongholds.
