Thousands of Muslims gathered at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the first Friday of Ramadan to offer Juma prayers in an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual reflection.
From early morning, worshippers from across the capital flocked to the mosque, seeking blessings during Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, self-discipline, and increased worship.
The mosque and surrounding areas were filled to capacity, with people standing shoulder to shoulder in prayer. Many arrived early to secure a place inside the main hall, while others offered prayers on the mosque premises.
