


A moderate 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Myanmar today at 10:39 am (Bangladesh time).
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake originated at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicentre was located in the Andaman Sea, approximately 267 kilometers west-southwest of Dawei, Myanmar.
The tremor was felt not only in Myanmar but also in the neighboring country of Thailand.
As of the latest reports, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties resulting from the earthquake in either Myanmar or Thailand.
